These shows mark Bree’s first solo performances in over two years and the first opportunity for fans to hear Another Night on Earth performed alongside her live band, who will add an expansive and upbeat soundscape to the album which was almost entirely recorded in bedroom studios around the country.

An enchanting and beautifully crated 11-tracks, the highly anticipated Another Night on Earth was released in June to unanimous praise, written and recorded by Bree over a two-year period. Her siren vocals are hypnotic throughout, and the album flickers between two distinct moods, shifting between ethereal dream-pop and hushed, glitch electronica, and a markedly more upbeat lively band aspect injected with a fusion of sultry jazz. Last month, the record was released on vinyl via the independent Australian label Fifty Records, with a strictly limited pressing of 200 copies available worldwide – the vinyl will be available for purchase at all shows.

Townsville-native Bree Tranter was first introduced to audiences as vocalist, flutist and keyboardist of beloved Australian group The Middle East. Departing from the sound of her former band, Bree took a new direction with the release of her EP Jaws in 2013, before transitioning to a full-time member of Matt Corby’s band to tour locally and abroad. Her long-awaited debut album Another Night on Earth (2016) was released in June to universal praise, spawning the sensual singles ‘More Sex and Love’ and ‘Tuesday Fresh Cuts’, plus more recently the lively and upbeat ‘Your Rhythm’ which was added to high rotation play on Double J.
