The Good Ship are a force to be reckoned with. A blend of folk, cabaret, insanity that are sure to blow your little tennis shoes right off.
The Brisbane based band have been a solid member of Brisbane’s diverse live music scene for years now, bringing their Nick Cave-esque melodrama to stages across Australia, a 7 piece band with the sole intention to tear the roof off.
The Good Ship are about to set sail (get it) on a national tour to support the release of their brand new single ‘Sea Monster‘, which dropped today. ‘ Sea Monster’ is an eclectic mix of accordion, jingle-jangle spaghetti western pianos and growled vocals that John Jarrett himself would be proud of.
The track oozes in a confidence that recently landed The Good Ship a support slot for folk trendsters The Lumineers in January, a clear sign that these salty sea dogs are a live experience not to be missed.
